Hillary Lewin, certified professional Abdominal Therapist Professional Care Instructor & Marissa Farrell, October 2015, Greenfield, NH
"Baby girl, made her debut yesterday afternoon. Labor started exactly 12 hours after my Ready Set Go with you...no joke, I woke up at 4:44 a.m. contractions started around 5:30, and 6 hours later I was holding Hope in my arms! It was a dream natural childbirth, I gave birth on my side so my hips are doing great and there was no tearing. I can’t thank you enough for the education and support you gave me and my girl."
- In gratitude, Kristen
Abdominal Massage Therapy in the tradition of Rosita Arvigo is founded on the ancient Mayan technique of abdominal massage which is a style of massage that reposition's the internal organs and pelvis which may have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi.
Based on over thirty years of training and experience in massage, naprapathy, herbology, and spiritual healing, Dr. Rosita Arvigo developed these techniques which now bear her name. This modality incorporates a holistic approach to health care which includes massage, anatomy and physiology, herbology, nutrition, and emotional and spiritual healing. Dr. Arvigo believes that with any natural healing technique, these areas must be simultaneously addressed to promote optimal health.
As a certified professional practitioner of the Abdominal Therapy, Marissa has completed the Self Care Training, Professional Training Workshop, and the Advanced Prenatal Techniques from pre-conception to postpartum as well. This is a 2+ year training with lots of 'hands-on' time under the watchful eyes of certified Abdominal teachers and Ms. Rosita herself. Marissa has completed the advanced Certification training.
